The search for the corpses of the Armenian servicemen, who were killed as a result of the counter-offensive operation of the Azerbaijani Army against the large-scale provocations committed by the Armenian armed forces on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border on September 12-14, 2022, was carried out, Azerbaijan State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons told AZERTAC.

Azerbaijan, once again demonstrating its commitment to the international humanitarian law and the values of humanism, handed over the corpses of 95 Armenian servicemen, through the mediation of the International Committee of the Red Cross, following the inspection with the participation of the Azerbaijan Military Prosecutor’s Office which confirmed no signs of violence on them, on September 20, 2022.

The humanitarian process of handing over the corpses of Armenian servicemen will be continued.
