Baku: Teymur Musayev, Azerbaijan's Minister of Health, met with Jean Todt, the UN Secretary-General's Special Envoy for Road Safety, in Baku to discuss collaborative efforts in road safety and emergency medical care.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting involved an exchange of views on several key areas, including road safety, prevention of traffic accidents, and enhancement of emergency medical care for accident victims. Both parties also explored prospects for international cooperation in these fields.

Jean Todt commended Azerbaijan for its measures to improve road safety and acknowledged the country's accomplishments in this domain. The discussions also centered on strengthening road safety awareness, developing the emergency medical care system, improving coordination among relevant agencies, and identifying future cooperation opportunities.
