According to Azeri-Press News Agency, in a nationwide gesture of mourning, the National Flag of the Republic of Azerbaijan was lowered in cities, districts, villages, and settlements. Commemorative events are being held across the country to mark the 36th anniversary of the January 20 tragedy, with remembrance ceremonies taking place in cities and districts nationwide.
From the early morning hours, people have been visiting Martyrs' Alley to honor the memory of the fallen, laying fresh flowers on the graves of those who lost their lives.
