Baku:Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, extended a warm welcome to participants of the 6th Azerbaijan International Defence Exhibition 'ADEX-2026.'

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Hasanov emphasized the exhibition's role as a platform for showcasing military capabilities, fostering new contracts, and exploring prospective joint projects. He highlighted Azerbaijan's commitment to international cooperation aimed at enhancing security and peace, and noted the importance of adapting to technological advancements in defense.

The minister underscored the necessity of advanced military equipment and the continuous training of military personnel, reflecting the country's focus on modernizing its armed forces. He acknowledged the support from President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva in equipping the military with cutting-edge technology.

Hasanov also pointed out Azerbaijan's robust defense industry, which produces a wide range of competitive defense products. The exhibition, he noted, serves as a significant venue for discussing technical solutions and strengthening Azerbaijan's position as a strategic partner on the international stage.
