Azerbaijan Hosts Media Tour at Newly Inaugurated Aghdam City Secondary School No. 1

Aghdam: A media tour was organized to Aghdam city secondary school No. 1, where journalists were given an in-depth look at the facility designed to accommodate 960 students.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the head of the Karabakh Regional Education Department, Sanan Mansimli, provided detailed insights into the school’s infrastructure. The building boasts 43 classrooms and 16 administrative rooms. It also features a state-of-the-art STEAM center with seven rooms dedicated to science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics.

The school is equipped with modern technological facilities, including physics, chemistry, and biology laboratories, computer science and pre-service training rooms, a library, and a museum. Additionally, a 352-seat cafeteria, a 468-seat assembly hall, and two indoor gyms are available for student and teacher use. Outdoor amenities include football and basketball courts for various school events.

It is noteworthy that on July 18, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev participated in the inauguration ceremony of the school building, marking an important milestone for the educational infrastructure in Aghdam.
