Azerbaijan Increases Importation of Georgian Products by Nearly 30%

Baku: In January-October of this year, Azerbaijan imported local products worth 150.7 million US dollars from Georgia. This represents a significant increase compared to the same period last year, marking a 29.2% rise in local product supplies from Georgia.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Azerbaijan ranked 6th among the top ten local export partners of Georgia, securing a 5.7% share in Georgia’s local product exports. This places Azerbaijan behind Russia, Trkiye, China, Bulgaria, and Armenia in terms of export partnership.

The total value of local exports from Georgia during this period reached 5.83 billion US dollars. The list of top ten local products exported from Georgia included precious metal ores and concentrates, fresh grape wine, alcoholic beverages, ferroalloys, various natural and mineral waters, sugar-sweetened waters, nuts, mineral fertilizers, as well as gold, copper ores, and concentrates.
