Azerbaijan Increases Imports of Georgian Products by 6.3%

Baku: Azerbaijan imported local products worth 20.4 million US dollars from Georgia in January-February this year, APA's local bureau reports, citing the National Statistics Office of Georgia.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this reflects a 6.3% increase in imports compared to the same period last year. During this reporting period, Azerbaijan was ranked seventh among Georgia's top ten export partners for local products, holding a 3.1% share.

In the first two months of the year, Georgia exported local products valued at a total of 1.03 billion US dollars, marking a 22.9% increase year-on-year. The top ten exported local products from Georgia included precious metal ores and concentrates, oil and petroleum oils, nuts, ferroalloys, fresh grape wine, copper ores and concentrates, unsweetened natural or artificial mineral and carbonated waters, alcoholic beverages, gold, and mineral and carbonated waters with added sugar.
