Baku: Azerbaijan has determined new concessions for diplomatic missions of foreign states, as reflected in a proposed amendment to the Customs Code. This amendment was discussed during the recent session of the Milli Majlis.
According to Azeri-Press News agency, the draft amendment specifies that the personal baggage of heads of diplomatic missions, members of the diplomatic staff, and their family members residing with them will be exempted from customs inspection. This proposal was thoroughly discussed and subsequently put to a vote, where it was adopted in the third reading.
