Baku: Updated 50-manat banknotes featuring the signature of Taleh Tahir oglu Kazimov, Chairman of the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan, will be put into circulation starting from December 25, 2025.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Central Bank has confirmed that the signature is depicted on the front of the banknote in the upper left corner, along with the year of production, '2025.'

Other design elements and technical specifications of the updated 50-manat banknote have remained unchanged, consistent with the currently circulating banknotes of the same denomination. It has been clarified that these updated banknotes will circulate alongside the existing 50-manat banknotes.
