Azerbaijan Joins International Summit on Phygital Sports in Astana

Baku: The Phygital Sports Summit Astana 2026 event has kicked off in Kazakhstan's capital as part of the Games of the Future 2026 program. Azerbaijan's Minister of Youth and Sports, Farid Gayibov, was present at the event, highlighting Azerbaijan's active involvement in the international sports community.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Yerbol Myrzabosyynov, Kazakhstan's Minister of Tourism and Sport, addressed the summit's opening ceremony. The event gathered sports ministers from the UAE, Russia, Uzbekistan, and Belarus, alongside representatives from international sports organizations, technology companies, and experts from various countries.

The summit's program includes panel sessions focusing on the development of physical education sports, fostering international cooperation, and exploring digital technologies and innovations. These discussions aim to address the future prospects of the sports industry.

The Phygital Sports Summit is anticipated to serve as a critical platform for exchanging experiences. It will also play a significant role in developing joint solutions to further advance the international physical education movement.
