New york: Azerbaijan has officially joined the United Nations Convention on International Settlement Agreements Resulting from Mediation. The announcement was made by the Permanent Mission of Azerbaijan to the UN on X, as reported by APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Azerbaijan's Permanent Representative to the UN, Tofig Musayev, signed the convention on behalf of the country at the UN Office for Legal Affairs. The convention, adopted in New York on December 20, 2018, establishes the legal framework for agreements reached through mediation at the international level.
