Baku: Azerbaijan's Parliamentary Committee on International Relations and Interparliamentary Ties has reviewed a draft law aimed at approving a bilateral agreement with Jordan to mutually abolish visa requirements for holders of ordinary passports. This development marks a significant step in diplomatic relations between the two nations.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the draft law endorses the "Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on the mutual exemption from visa requirements for holders of ordinary passports." The committee's discussions on September 14 paved the way for the draft law to be recommended for consideration in an upcoming plenary session of the Milli Majlis, Azerbaijan's Parliament.

The move is anticipated to enhance bilateral ties and facilitate easier travel for citizens of both countries, fostering better economic and cultural exchanges.
