Baku: The Azerbaijan Karate Federation (AKF) organized an event to commemorate the achievements of the year 2025, Apasport.az reports. AKF President Ulvi Guliyev addressed the gathering, highlighting the significant progress made in the field of karate in Azerbaijan over the past year.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Ulvi Guliyev expressed his appreciation for the special attention and support provided by President Ilham Aliyev towards sports. He extended his gratitude to athletes, coaches, and referees for their contributions. Guliyev conveyed his confidence in the continued successful representation of Azerbaijan on the international karate stage.

The event also saw the recognition of Apasport Sports Agency for its comprehensive coverage and support in promoting karate. AKF President Ulvi Guliyev awarded an honorary diploma to Rasim Sultanzade, the Editor-in-Chief of Apasport Sports Agency, acknowledging the agency's role in popularizing the sport.
