Baku: Today, a sufficiently stable increase is being observed in cargo transportation between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, Talgat Aldybergenov, Chairman of the Board of the ‘Kazakhstan Railways National Company’ JSC, said in his comments to journalists on the sidelines of the plenary meeting of the CIS Railway Transport Council held in Baku, APA-Economics reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, cargo transportation between the countries has increased sevenfold over the past four years. Talgat Aldybergenov highlighted that in the first 10 months of this year, the volume reached 4.1 million tons, indicating a significant increase in cargo movement between the two nations.
The substantial rise in cargo volumes reflects growing economic cooperation and enhanced connectivity between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan. The increased cargo transportation is expected to further strengthen trade relations, contributing to the economic development of both countries.
