Azerbaijan Launches “e-su” Portal to Improve Water Supply Services


BAKU: Azerbaijan has officially launched the “e-su” portal to enhance water supply services, aiming to streamline access for entrepreneurs and stakeholders. The initiative is part of the country’s broader efforts to improve its “Utilities (Water Supply)” indicator within the World Bank’s “Business Ready” project.

According to Trend News Agency, the unveiling event was designed to inform about the “Connection to Water Supply Network” initiative included in the 2024 roadmap. This effort is supported by the State Agency for Water Resources and the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA). During the event, a guide detailing recent updates and new regulations for water supply connections was presented to various stakeholders, including business associations and non-governmental organizations.
