Baku: Azerbaijan’s share of regional trade has increased to 51.4% even as the South Caucasus’s overall trade turnover saw a decrease of 8.8%. From January to October 2025, the trade turnover of the South Caucasus, which includes Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Georgia, amounted to $76.467 billion.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, these South Caucasus countries are characterized as small, open economies that are closely integrated with global markets. The region’s imports totaled $43.467 billion, while exports amounted to approximately $33 billion during this period.

Foreign trade continues to play a key role in the region’s economic growth. Strengthening trade relations is seen as important for ensuring economic stability across the South Caucasus.
