Baku – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan has reaffirmed its commitment to the protection of private property, cultural sites, and artifacts, as well as the safeguarding of registration documents. This statement comes in the context of the recent decision by the International Court of Justice dated November 17, 2023.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Ministry emphasized that Azerbaijan’s actions in these areas are in compliance with both national legislation and international obligations. The Ministry highlighted the Court’s non-indication in these matters as a validation of the effective measures being taken by Azerbaijan to protect cultural heritage and private properties.
