Baku: Azerbaijan National Defense University hosted a meeting with a delegation from Georgia’s Defense Institution Building School (DIBS) under the Ministry of Defense. The meeting took place at the Military Management Institute as part of the ongoing ‘Defense and Security Strategic Program’ collaboration between the Azerbaijani and Georgian Defense Ministries.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the main objective of the meeting was to engage with education experts on mutual defense and security strategies while providing the Georgian delegation with insights into Azerbaijan’s security and defense policies. The Georgian representatives were introduced to the history and mission of the Institute, including its academic structure, study programs, and educational fields.

Following the discussions, an educational tour was organized for the Georgian delegates to explore the educational facilities and learn about the reforms and innovations in military education within the Azerbaijan Army. The visit highlighted the opportunities available in Azerbaijan’s military education system.

The meeting concluded with an exchange of gifts between the Azerbaijani and Georgian representatives, marking a gesture of goodwill and cooperation in defense education.
