Baku: Azerbaijan’s national football team has experienced a decline in the latest FIFA rankings, dropping by five positions. The team is now ranked 118th, with a total of 1161.8 points.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the updated rankings reflect Azerbaijan’s current standing in international football, as the team struggles to maintain its previous position. The top of the FIFA rankings remains occupied by world champion Argentina, holding the first position with 1883.5 points. France follows in second place with 1859.85 points, and Spain is in third with 1844.33 points.

The shift in rankings may prompt a reevaluation of strategies and training within the Azerbaijan national team as they aim to improve their standing in future competitions.
