Baku: Azerbaijan has nearly completed a highway and railroad within its territory designed to connect to the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) in Armenia.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the TRIPP project, a multimodal transit route, is making significant strides towards realization following the U.S.-Armenia agreement to establish the TRIPP Development Company. This company has been tasked with leading the infrastructure development for the ambitious project.
Engineering surveys in Armenia are already in progress, furthering the advancement of the TRIPP initiative. The Joint Statement from the United States, the Republic of Armenia, and the Republic of Azerbaijan, marking the first anniversary of the White House Peace Summit, emphasizes the collaborative efforts in infrastructure development. The statement also highlights the support for constructing an electricity transmission line through the TRIPP, underscoring the commitment of the three countries to bolster regional connectivity and cooperation.
