Azerbaijan opens entry to residents of 20 more countries

The Cabinet of Ministers has expanded the list of states whose citizens are allowed to arrive in Azerbaijan by air from the country of residence.

On August 5, Azerbaijan lifted restrictions on the arrival in Azerbaijan from 20 more states – Germany, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Ireland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Canada, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Singapore, Slovenia, Slovakia and Greece.

Citizens of these countries, as well as foreigners and stateless persons permanently residing on their territory, can enter and leave Azerbaijan with a COVID-19 passport (document confirming full vaccination against COVID-19 or immunity from COVID-19) and based on a document confirming negative result of a PCR test for COVID-19, issued 72 hours before departure.

These individuals are not required to undergo a PCR test for COVID-19 when leaving Azerbaijan.

Earlier, from June 10, Azerbaijan allowed entry to citizens of Russia and Turkey, and from June 21 – the United States, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Great Britain, Israel, Hungary and Qatar.
