Azerbaijan organizes info tour for group of sculptors and artists to Kalbajar


Azerbaijan’s State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and IDPs and the Special Representative Office of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Kalbajar district have co-organized an information tour to Kalbajar district for a creative group consisting of sculptors and artists.

The participants of the tour received detailed information about the restoration and construction works carried out in the district under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, and the measures taken to prepare the local population to return to their homeland. Artists had an opportunity to get acquainted with the fascinating nature of Kalbajar and see the mysterious landscapes. They also witnessed the traces of atrocities committed by Armenians in these areas, destroyed and looted homelands, and talked with local residents who have come to the region for economic purposes. The artists also took advantage of the opportunity to capture nature scenes on paper and canvas, as well as take photos and videos.

The members of the cr
eative group visited the city of Kalbajar, the ancient Albanian temple of Khudaveng Monastery, as well as the Sarsang water reservoir. They hailed the trip as productive and useful.
