Baku: Azerbaijan has announced its state budget priorities for 2026-2029, APA reports, citing the Ministry of Finance. Many of the challenges reflected in previous medium-term budget framework documents remain relevant for 2025-2028.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, key priorities include the implementation of the “Azerbaijan 2030: National Priorities for Socio-Economic Development” and the 2022-2026 socio-economic development strategy. The restoration and reintegration of the Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur economic regions are also highlighted, along with the facilitation of the Great Return to these territories. Strengthening national defense capabilities remains a crucial focus.
