The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan hosted a meeting with the Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Mr. Sajid Hussain Turi, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan, the Ministry told APA.

As a conclusion of the meeting, the Action Plan for 2023-2024 was signed between the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population of Azerbaijan Republic and the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development of Pakistan on the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the fields of labor, employment, and social protection.

The document envisages the monitoring and forecasting of the labor market, employment, prevention of informal employment, addressing social and employment problems of disabled people, and preparation of programs for special vocational training and professional directions for them, application of legislation on labor protection and regulation of labor relations, application of ICT in the fields of labor, employment, and social protection, as well as the exchange of information and experience in other spheres.
