Moscow: The 39th meeting of the Coordinating Council of the Intergovernmental Courier Service of the CIS Member States took place in Moscow, attended by delegations from the courier communications services of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) member countries. Azerbaijan was represented by its State Service of Special Communication and Information Security.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting focused on issues related to ensuring the prompt and secure delivery of official correspondence between the heads of state, governments, and central executive authorities of the CIS Coordination Council member states. The participants discussed various strategies to enhance the efficiency and security of their courier services.

The meeting concluded with the signing of a protocol outlining the outcomes and agreements reached during the discussions. This protocol aims to further improve cooperation and coordination among the CIS member states in terms of their intergovernmental courier services.

Additionally, it was noted that the previous meeting, the 38th of its kind, was held in Baku. Azerbaijan's State Service for Special Communications and Information Security chaired that particular meeting, highlighting the country's ongoing involvement and leadership within the CIS framework.
