Baku: Azerbaijan is set to organize a forum in February involving think tanks from G-6 countries, Farid Shafiyev, head of the Center of Analysis of International Relations, announced at a press conference reviewing the year's outcomes. This initiative is part of Azerbaijan's efforts to engage in dialogue and collaboration with influential international policy groups.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Shafiyev revealed that a similar forum is also in the works with think tanks from European Union countries. The forums aim to foster discussions and partnerships that could enhance Azerbaijan's international relations and policy-making processes.

Additionally, Shafiyev addressed concerns regarding disinformation campaigns targeting Azerbaijan. He emphasized that the Center of Analysis of International Relations is committed to countering narratives that suggest the normalization process with Armenia is solely for Azerbaijan's benefit. Shafiyev also noted accusations of war crimes against Azerbaijan and attempts to legitimize figures like Ruben Vardanyan. He stated that the authors of such critical articles sometimes privately acknowledge the lack of objectivity in their criticisms.
