Azerbaijan Plans to Eliminate State Fee for Veterinary Certificates

Baku:The Azerbaijani government plans to abolish the state fee for issuing veterinary certificates, as reported by APA. This change is included in a proposed amendment to the Law "On State Duty."

According to Azeri-Press news agency, the current law, specifically Article 18.66.1, mandates a state fee of AZN 10 for obtaining a veterinary certificate. This requirement imposes an additional financial burden on business entities by increasing production costs and selling prices of animal products.

The proposed amendment aims to alleviate these financial strains by removing the fee, thereby preventing potential price increases in animal products.
