Baku:Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov addressed the Coordination Meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), emphasizing key international issues and Azerbaijan's commitment to Islamic solidarity.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Minister Bayramov congratulated the new OIC Secretary-General Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed and underscored the importance of unity against escalating Islamophobia. He reiterated Azerbaijan's unwavering support for the statehood of Palestine.

The Minister expressed deep concern over increasing military conflicts in various regions, urging for strengthened diplomatic efforts and collective action by the OIC to combat discrimination and violence towards Muslim communities worldwide.

Additionally, Minister Bayramov detailed Azerbaijan's institutional preparations for hosting the OIC Summit in 2027, highlighting the nation's readiness to facilitate this significant international gathering.
