Baku: Azerbaijan's Minister of Culture, Adil Karimli, met with Miguel Angel Moratinos, High Representative for the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC), and Nihal Saad, director of the organization, on March 11. The meeting underscored the importance of the 13th Global Baku Forum, set to take place from March 12-14.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Karimli emphasized Azerbaijan's commitment to enhancing cooperation with UNAOC. The officials highlighted the strengthening of the partnership established within the Baku Process, a global initiative by President Ilham Aliyev, and discussed preparations for the 7th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue, scheduled for October in Baku.

The discussions also focused on reinforcing cultural diplomacy and intercultural dialogue against the backdrop of complex geopolitical developments, while exploring avenues to expand cooperation in these areas.
