Azerbaijan Projects 23% Revenue Increase from Fish and Seafood Sales


Baku: Azerbaijan is set to experience a significant boost in its fish and seafood market revenues, with an anticipated increase of 23% this year. It is expected that the nation’s market will generate USD 42.64 million in revenue in 2023.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this projected revenue represents a 22.9% increase compared to the previous year. The market is also expected to maintain a steady annual growth rate of 9.81%, which would see the market volume rise to USD 61.99 million by 2029.



The forecast also highlights China as the leading country in global fish and seafood sales for the year, with an anticipated sales volume of USD 21.2 billion.
