Baku:A new amendment to the Tax Code in Azerbaijan proposes a 10% discount on financial penalties if paid within 10 working days.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, this initiative aims to ensure the timely implementation of budget forecasts, encourage the prompt collection of tax debts into the state budget, and stimulate the inflow of funds into the tax authority's extrabudgetary fund.

The discount is part of efforts to incentivize early payment and improve financial compliance within the country.
