Azerbaijan Proposes Developing Unified Economic Security Concept

Baku: It has been proposed to develop a Unified Economic Security Concept, APA reports. This initiative was suggested by Azer Amiraslanov, Chairman of the Milli Majlis Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship, during the parliamentary session focused on the 2026 budget package.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the committee chairman emphasized that the budget package primarily includes financial security measures. He highlighted the need for a Unified Economic Security Concept to address measures across various sectors, including social, economic, financial, energy, food, and water security.
