Baku: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev extended his congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, and the people of Qatar in celebration of the country’s national holiday. In his message, President Aliyev expressed his satisfaction with the current state of Azerbaijan-Qatar relations, which are deeply rooted in shared religious and cultural values, as well as Islamic solidarity.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Aliyev emphasized the importance of continued joint efforts to strengthen interstate relations between Azerbaijan and Qatar. He highlighted the foundation of mutual trust and support that characterizes the relationship between the two nations and expressed optimism about fully leveraging the potential for mutually beneficial cooperation, both bilaterally and multilaterally.

In his message, President Aliyev also wished Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani robust health, happiness, and success in his state activities. He conveyed his hopes for everlasting peace and prosperity for the brotherly people of Qatar on the occasion of their national holiday.
