Baku:The staff of Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) visited the Alley of Honor to mark the 146th anniversary of the establishment of railways in Azerbaijan and the professional holiday of railway workers.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, the staff paid tribute to National Leader Heydar Aliyev for his significant contributions to the development of the railways. A wreath and bouquets of flowers were placed at his grave in his honor.

The memory of the prominent ophthalmologist and academician Zarifa Aliyeva was also respectfully commemorated during the visit.

Following their visit to the Alley of Honor, the delegation proceeded to the Alley of Martyrs, where they honored the memory of those who sacrificed their lives for Azerbaijan's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
