In accord with the economic classification, in January-June 2022 in Azerbaijan 5,799.8 mln AZN or 44.8% of state budget expenditures fell on socially oriented expenditures (wage fund, grants and social allowances, medicine and food). This was reported by the Ministry of Finance.

It is up by 13.5% from the same period of the last year, the Ministry said.
