Azerbaijan Ratifies Visa-Free Agreement with Ecuador for Diplomatic Passports

Baku: Azerbaijan has officially approved a law that ratifies a visa-free agreement with Ecuador for holders of diplomatic and official passports. President Ilham Aliyev sanctioned the law, which facilitates mutual visa exemption between the two nations, allowing for easier travel for government officials and diplomats.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the agreement was initially signed on May 4, 2026, in Quito. It outlines the terms for mutual visa exemption for individuals with diplomatic, official, and service passports from both Azerbaijan and Ecuador. The ratification of this agreement marks a step forward in strengthening diplomatic relations and facilitating international cooperation between the two countries.
