Baku:Thirty-two Azerbaijani citizens were readmitted from Germany as part of an agreement between Azerbaijan and the European Union regarding the readmission of unauthorized residents. This return took place on October 13, 2026.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, this process is coordinated by the State Migration Service. The Reintegration Working Group, which includes representatives from various state bodies, is actively working on measures to overcome challenges faced by these readmitted citizens.

Efforts are being made to ensure the effective and sustainable socio-economic reintegration of these individuals into Azerbaijani society.
