Azerbaijan Ready to Partner with U.S. in Future Industries and Technologies

Baku: Azerbaijan is poised to collaborate with the United States in shaping future industries and technologies, as stated by Huseyn Huseynov, Adviser to the Azerbaijani Economy Minister. He made these remarks at the 'TECHNOVATION: Science and Innovation for Sustainable Economic Transformation' conference held in Baku.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Huseynov emphasized that Azerbaijan is entering a new phase of economic development driven by technology, innovation, and knowledge. For more than 30 years, the U.S. has been one of Azerbaijan's most reliable economic partners. Initially, cooperation between the two nations was rooted in the energy sector, but it has since expanded to include innovation, technology, and digital transformation.

The recent Azerbaijan-US Economic Dialogue highlighted new avenues for collaboration, particularly in high-performance computing systems, artificial intelligence infrastructure, cloud technologies, and digital innovations. Huseynov pointed out that partnerships with global companies such as Dell Technologies, Oracle, Microsoft, and Amazon indicate a shift from traditional investment partnerships to strategic technological cooperation between Azerbaijan and the U.S.

Huseynov also discussed the "Digital Silk Way" project, which is Azerbaijan's first digital economic zone. He described it as a successful example of transforming innovations into industrial reforms. Azerbaijan is prepared to partner with the U.S. in developing future industries, technologies, and opportunities.
