Baku: Azerbaijan has officially recalled its ambassadors to Switzerland and the Netherlands. Fuad Eldar oglu Isgandarov has been withdrawn from his position as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Swiss Confederation and concurrently to the Principality of Liechtenstein.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Ilham Aliyev issued an order for this diplomatic change. In a separate directive, President Aliyev also ordered the recall of Mammad Bahaddin oglu Ahmadzada from his roles as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Kingdom of the Netherlands and as Permanent Representative to the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons.
The recall of these ambassadors marks a significant shift in Azerbaijan's diplomatic assignments, as both positions are key to the nation's international relations and diplomatic strategy in Europe.
