Azerbaijan Recalls Consulate General from St. Petersburg

Baku: Sultan Mahammad Gasimov has been recalled from his position as the Consulate General of Azerbaijan in St. Petersburg, Russia.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has officially signed an order for the recall of Sultan Mahammad Gasimov. The details surrounding the reasons for the recall or who will succeed Gasimov have not been disclosed.
