Azerbaijan recorded 33 new coronavirus infections in the past 24 hours, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers said on Sunday.

The overall tally of infected people climbed to 823,721 across the country after adding the fresh cases.

The country’s COVID-19 recoveries rose by 42 over the past day, reaching 813,570.

Azerbaijan had two COVID-19 deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the toll to 9,963.

On Sunday, 1,390 tests were conducted throughout Azerbaijan, the Task Force added.
