Baku: Azerbaijan has commenced the relocation of another group of former internally displaced persons (IDPs) to the village of Mammadbayli in the Zangilan district as part of the Great Return initiative. This initiative follows the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev and aims to resettle individuals in territories that were liberated from occupation. According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the families moving to Mammadbayli were previously residing in various parts of the republic, including hostels, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings. The current phase of relocation involves 26 families, totaling 142 individuals. The returning residents expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for the state care they received. They also thanked the Azerbaijani Army, acknowledging the efforts of soldiers and officers who played a role in liberating the occupied lands. In addition, they paid tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives during the process.
