Azerbaijan Relocates Former IDPs to Aghdam City, Families Receive House Keys

Aghdam: Residents have returned to the 6th neighborhood of the 2nd residential complex in the city of Aghdam. At this stage, 119 families - a total of 417 former internally displaced persons - have returned to the city, and the keys to the houses were handed over to the residents. This brings the total number of families resettled in the city of Aghdam to 222, with the population reaching 820 people.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the next resettlement convoy has arrived in the city of Aghdam. At this stage, 120 families (419 people) have been relocated to Aghdam. The Great Return to the territories liberated from occupation continues in accordance with the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev.

Those relocating to Aghdam had previously been temporarily settled in various parts of the country, mainly in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings. Residents returning to their native homeland expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for the comprehensive state care provided to them. They also conveyed their appreciation to the Azerbaijani Army and offered prayers for the souls of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives on this path.
