Shusha: Azerbaijan has started the relocation of the first group of residents to Boyuk Galaderesi village in the Shusha district, as per the directive of President Ilham Aliyev. This marks the inaugural phase of the resettlement process, which commenced on May 25.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, 14 families, totaling 64 individuals, have been relocated as part of the nation's ongoing 'Great Return' Program. The initiative aims to facilitate the return of residents to their original homes in the region.
The families who have moved to Shusha were formally handed the keys to their new homes. This ceremony was conducted by the Office of the Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in Shusha, alongside the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).
