Baku: Azerbaijan has officially changed the name of the Second Alley of Martyrs to the Military Memorial Cemetery. This decision marks a shift in how the nation honors its fallen military personnel.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Military Memorial Cemetery serves as the final resting place for military personnel who lost their lives during the First and Second Karabakh Wars, the April battles, anti-terror operations, and other missions. It also includes those who perished in a helicopter crash, alongside generals and officers recognized for their service to the homeland.
