BAKU: A total of 25 from 26 political parties are taking part in Azerbaijan’s snap parliamentary election scheduled for September 1, the Chairman of the Azerbaijani Central Election Commission (CEC) Mazahir Panahov told reporters, Trend reports.

According to him, the CEC received about 1,200 applications.

‘Many of them have already been approved. 31 people have been registered.

Besides, about 950 observers and more than 600 authorized representatives of political parties were registered,’ he added.
