Azerbaijan Sees 3.7% Rise in Retail Trade Turnover

Baku: Retail trade turnover in Azerbaijan experienced a notable increase of 3.7 percent in real terms during the first nine months of 2025, as consumers spent 46,422.8 million manats in the retail trade network.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the State Statistical Committee reported that from January to September 2025, sales of food products, beverages, and tobacco products amounted to 25,359.1 million manats. Meanwhile, non-food products accounted for 21,063.7 million manats of the total retail trade turnover.

The report highlights a 1.3 percent increase in sales of food products, beverages, and tobacco products, compared to the same period in 2024. Non-food product sales showed a more substantial growth of 6.8 percent, indicating a shift in consumer purchasing patterns.

This growth in retail trade turnover reflects the changing economic landscape in Azerbaijan, as the country continues to adapt to evolving consumer needs and market conditions.
