Azerbaijan Sees 5.9% Increase in Consumer Price Index in March 2025


Baku: Azerbaijan’s consumer price index experienced a rise of 5.9% in March 2025 compared to the same month the previous year. This increase encompasses a 6.5% rise in the prices of food products, beverages, and tobacco products, a 2.8% increase in non-food products, and a 7.5% hike in paid services provided to the population.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the consumer price index in March 2025 grew by 0.6% compared to February 2025. During the first quarter of 2025, the index rose by 5.6% compared to the same period in 2024. This data was reported by APA-Economics, which cited information from the State Statistics Committee.
