BAKU: Azerbaijan has increased its production of gas condensate by 6% in the first nine months of this year, marking a significant growth in its energy sector. The State Statistics Committee reported that from January to September, the country produced 3,950.44 thousand tons of gas condensate, reflecting a 5.53% rise compared to the same period last year.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the amount of gas condensate that contributed to commodity products during this period reached 3,944.85 thousand tons, signifying a 6% increase year-on-year. In 2023, the total gas condensate production in Azerbaijan was 5,215.84 thousand tons, a 3.92% increase from the previous year. Additionally, 5,190.25 tons produced last year were classified as commodity products, representing a 4.06% rise compared to the previous year.
