Baku: In the first nine months of this year, Azerbaijan imported 6,367 passenger cars from Georgia, with a total value of 170.4 million US dollars. Compared to the same period last year, the number of imported cars decreased by 3,840 units, or 37.6%.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, from January to September, a total of 82,527 passenger cars worth 2.1 billion US dollars were re-exported from Georgia, of which 7.72% belonged to Azerbaijan. This data highlights a significant reduction in the volume of cars Azerbaijan is bringing in from its neighboring country, reflecting potential shifts in trade dynamics or domestic demand.
